Ingredients
- 18 asparagus spears
- ¼ c. butter
- ¼ c. flour
- ½ tsp. salt
- 1½ c. milk
- 1 c. Cheddar cheese, shredded
- 4 hard boiled eggs, sliced
- ½ c. cracker crumbs
- ¼ c. butter, melted
Instructions
- Cook asparagus 10 to 20 minutes
- In medium sauce pot, melt butter and stir in flour and salt
- Stir in milk and cook over medium heat until sauce thickens
- Stir in cheese until melted
- In baking dish, layer asparagus, eggs and white sauce. Repeat layer; top with cracker crumbs.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
